DISPATCH SUPERVISOR

We are Looking For

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily dispatch operations from the manufacturing unit.
- Coordinate with production, inventory, and transport teams to ensure timely dispatches.
- Prepare and maintain dispatch schedules and shipment plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all outgoing goods (e.g., invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills).
- Monitor vehicle movements, track deliveries, and resolve issues or delays in real time.
- Manage a team of dispatch clerks, loaders, and drivers ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
- Optimize loading plans based on order priority and vehicle capacity.
- Liaise with transport vendors to ensure vehicle availability and cost efficiency.
- Ensure packaging and loading are done as per product and customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances related to dispatch and logistics.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints related to dispatch/delivery delays.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor degree or diploma.
- 8-10 years of experience in dispatch or logistics supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of dispatch procedures, transportation laws, and inventory systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
- Primarily based at the manufacturing facility.
- May require working extended hours, weekends, or holidays during high-demand periods.
- Involves coordination with transport yards, and administrative offices.
