Dispatcher

A busy, local transportation company is looking for a Dispatcher!  This Dispatcher will dispatch, coordinate and schedule drivers, track loads, ensure deadlines are met, resolve any delivery issues and assist with A/P, A/R, match purchase orders, data entry and various other clerical duties.

This is a long term, full time, temp to hire position!  The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in Shafter, CA. Company offers a comprehensive benefit package and a nice, casual environment.  Pay will be re-evaluated after 6 months.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Dispatching and/or Logistics experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and QuickBooks

Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable

Knowledge of Google Sheets (helpful)

Strong attention to detail
