At Revive Rx Pharmacy, we are rapidly expanding and seeking a passionate, self-motivated Dispensing Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven pharmacy environment and wants to go beyond the basics of retail or hospital pharmacy work.
As a Dispensing Pharmacy Technician, you will be a vital part of our operations, playing an integral role in prescription fulfillment, patient communication (including remote interactions), and medication preparation. This is not a typical pharmacy technician role we offer unique opportunities to cross-train in sterile and non-sterile compounding and support clinical coordination in an innovative, service-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Operations:Accurately process and dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulationsEnsure prescriptions are labeled, packaged, and verified correctly prior to delivery or pickupAssist in maintaining clean, compliant, and organized workstations throughout the shiftSupport daily workflow across multiple pharmacy departments, as needed
Inventory & Documentation:Manage and track inventory of medications and supplies to ensure timely replenishmentOrganize, file, and archive prescription records in compliance with regulatory standardsAssist with compounding preparation (non-sterile and sterile, based on training level)
Cross-Training Opportunities:Learn to support simple to complex compounding tasks with appropriate trainingCollaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure smooth coordination across departments (dispensing, compounding, fulfillment, and clinical coordination)
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (Required)Experience: 6+ months of experience in a pharmacy setting required, experience dispensing syringes preferredEducation: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)Technical Skills: Ability to work with pharmacy software, cloud-based communication tools, and mobile platformsSoft Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, clear verbal/written communication, and a team-oriented attitude
What We Offer
Hourly Rate: $20.00$21.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)Shift Differential: Available for 2pm -11pm shift
