DISTINGUISHED SCIENTIST/ENGINEER for HYPERSONIC WEAPON SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT & INTEGRATION

Summary You will serve as Distinguished Scientist/Engineer for Hypersonic Weapon Systems Development & Integration of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. The Secretary of War has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will lead research in the areas of weapon system technology maturation, weapon system development, weapon system control, weapon system integration, and weapon system test and evaluation. You will conduct hypersonic research and development for complex weapon systems. You will guide and influence the direction of hypersonic weapon development efforts at the national, international, DoW, and DoN levels.
