As a Distributed Computing & Cloud-native Engineer, you don’t just build systems—you help shape the future of how Europe handles data and computing at scale. From AI to edge computing, from cloud-native platforms to energy-aware infrastructure: at TNO, you’ll work on complex challenges with real societal impact.

What will be your role?

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team at the crossroads of distributed computing and cloud-native engineering. Together, we develop future-proof computing platforms that are sovereign, federated, , and sustainable. Think: hybrid architectures that power smart energy grids, autonomous systems, or AI-driven logistics. You’ll prototype, test, and refine next-generation platforms where edge computing, cloud orchestration, HPC, and alternative computing paradigms meet.
