Job Description
Responsible for specialized distribution center tasks in receiving, inventory, customer service, and/or order processing.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities
- Receives, counts, and records shipment data into the system. Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise. Prepares packages/merchandise for storage.
- Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items efficiently, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment.
- Identifies inconsistencies and immediately reports to Lead Hand/Supervisor.
- Delivers products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas. Operates one or more of the following machinery (counterbalance forklift, walkie rider, reach, Moffatt) to complete tasks.
- Verifies bin integrity and physical count of stock.
- Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location).
