Distribution Site Supervisor

PERSOL is excited to partner with a growing distribution operation in Darwin on this critical Distribution Site Supervisor role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and adaptable leader to take ownership of a small but expanding site, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer experience across the supply chain.

About the Role

You will lead day-to-day operations at the Darwin (Berrimah) site, overseeing the distribution process from order entry through to customer delivery. This role will have responsibility for managing a small, dedicated team, monitoring KPIs, ensuring operations remain within budget, and maintaining compliance with OH&S standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes and deliver a seamless service for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a small site team (Site Manager + 2 Driver/Storepersons).
• Oversee daily Distribution Centre operations, including resource planning and workload management.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Manage site distribution fleet, warehouse operations, suppliers, and inventory.
• Enforce company policies, including OH&S, security, EEO, Industrial Agreements, and anti-discrimination procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and maintain clear communication with your team.
• Ensure operations are maintained within budget and aligned with organisational goals.

About You

• Proven experience in warehouse or distribution centre management/supervision.
• Current truck license and forklift license.
• Fleet management experience is highly regarded.
• Strong customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience in continuous improvement programs advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously while driving a team to achieve operational objectives.
• Positive and professional approach to leadership, mentoring, and team engagement.

Additional Details

• Salary: $80-90K base per annum plus super
• Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Retention Bonus: $2-3K payable at 6 months (pending approval)
• Team: Small, close-knit site team with opportunity to shape growth and operations
• Location: Darwin (Berrimah), NT
