About the Role
The South Australian National Parks and Wildlife Service has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and capable leader to take on the senior regional role of District Ranger - Far West.
Based on the western Eyre Peninsula, this role offers the opportunity to live and work in a stunning and diverse terrestrial and marine environment.
The role is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the districts public land estate, including a network of terrestrial, island and marine parks. The role provides leadership to a skilled team of operational and ranger staff working across three locations, ensuring the delivery of high quality conservation, visitor services and land management outcomes.
As a senior leader within the Region, the District Ranger plays a key role in setting direction, supporting staff, managing assets and infrastructure, and ensuring visitors enjoy safe, high quality and memorable park experiences.
