Job Description

Mining Employment Services is seeking an experienced Underground Geology Technician to join a well-organised, long-life gold operation in the Goldfields region of WA. FIFO Perth Roster 8-6;

  • Previous underground geology technician/sampler experience or strong surface/field geology tech experience wanting to move underground;
  • Good understanding of sampling quality and following procedures;
  • Fit for UG work and committed to safety;
  • C-Class driver’s licence;
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen;

    • Position Duties:

  • Underground ore/waste identification and mark-ups;
  • Face, backs and stockpile sampling to geology procedures;
  • Core/RC sample handling and QA/QC tasks;
  • Daily liaison with Underground Geologists and shift personnel
    • Experience Previous relevant exploration and underground experience is highly regarded Current Status OPEN Duration Contract Duty Roster 8/6
