Snelling Staffing Services is hiring an experienced Dock Door Maintenance Technician to join a mechanical maintenance team at a major automotive manufacturing facility in South San Antonio. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial dock doors and dock levelers to ensure smooth operations.

PAY/SCHEDULE/LOCATION/BENEFITS:

• Starting at $25.00/hr+ depending on experience


• 4 Days, 40 Hours!
  
  
  
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Includes weekends)
  
  
  • 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Includes weekends)
  
  
  • Shift days rotate monthly: Sunday–Wednesday / Wednesday–Saturday

DOCK DOOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN DUTIES:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial dock doors (overhead, high-speed roll-up, coiling, and fire doors)


• Maintain and service dock levelers and related equipment


• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems associated with dock doors


• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on dock doors and dock levelers


• Lubricate moving components and replace worn parts to ensure smooth operation


• Collaborate with the maintenance team on related equipment support as needed

DOCK DOOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience performing maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial dock doors and dock levelers


• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems related to dock doors


• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures for dock doors and related equipment


• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods


• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States


• Drug screen and criminal background check required


• Reliable transportation required (not on the bus line)
