Job Description

The Document Control Technician is responsible for maintaining personal timekeeping using the company’s timekeeping system. This position plays a crucial role in organizing and managing engineering records within a large file room, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in documentation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and clear out a large file room containing engineering records stored on moveable shelving units.
  • Retrieve and box engineering files efficiently.
  • Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Lift and relocate boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally climb using a small step ladder or stool to access higher shelving.
  • Collaborate regularly with plant personnel, document control teams, and records management staff for guidance.
  • Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with familiarity in engineering records.
