Document Controller

Our client is a highly respected commercial construction company delivering large‑scale projects across Perth. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Document Controller to join their team.

As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient document management across multiple construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation across the full lifecycle using Aconex (essential).
• Set up and maintain project folders, workflows and transmittal registers.
• Issue, receive and process all drawings, RFIs, specifications, ITPs and technical documentation.
• Prepare and send transmittals , ensuring all parties receive the correct, up‑to‑date information.
• Maintain version control, revision tracking and quality checks on all documents.
• Support Project Managers, Engineers and Design teams with submission deadlines.
• Coordinate document flow between manufacturing, site teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project document control standards and audit requirements.
• Provide user support and basic training for project teams on Aconex processes.
• Generate weekly document status reports and dashboards for leadership.

About you

• Minimum 2 years experience in document control role within the construction or engineering field.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Aconex and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work autonomously.
