Document Controller Duties & Responsibilities

  • Control Incoming and Outgoing documents
  • Maintain Device Master Record files - both hard and soft copies
  • Expedites documents related to activities by Vendors and Suppliers
  • Prepares reports, correspondence, and performs other clerical/administrative duties as need arise
  • Identify different types of documents, such as Sales Invoice, Materials Receiving Report, Requisition Slips, Vouchers and Purchase Orders
  • Scan documents to generate a central database to be stored on the server and cloud
  • Implement and maintain a coordinated and consistent filing system
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate systems and to look for improvements
  • Able to work independently, under minimum supervision, and as part of a team
  • Effective, accurate, proactive and attention to detail
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience
