Dog Handler

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dog Handler to join our team. The role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for canine welfare experience in handling dogs of varying sizes and temperaments and a professional attitude. You will be responsible for the care training support and safe handling of dogs within a busy environment. This position is open to applicants from all backgrounds and is gender neutral.

Key responsibilities for Dog Handler role

• Safely handle and control dogs on-site and at external locations ensuring public safety and animal welfare.
• Provide daily care including feeding grooming exercise and monitoring of health and behaviour.
• Assist with basic training tasks and reinforcement of training plans under the guidance of senior trainers or behaviourists.
• Complete accurate records of each dogs behaviour health observations and training progress using our systems.
