Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Execute preventative maintenance activities including troubleshooting and repairs to all sawmill equipment, hydraulic systems, conveyors, and pumps.
• Install, maintain and replace hydrodynamic pump components, primary filters and coolers, power transmission belts and conveyor components.
• Overhaul and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Write maintenance and job-specific reports, draw or sketch assembly and components parts.
