**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Operate a dozer to support stripping activities, including overburden removal and site preparation.
+ Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
+ Maintain safe and efficient work practices in active quarry and stripping areas.
+ Coordinate with stripping crew members to meet daily production and sequencing goals.
+ Follow all safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
**What We Are Looking For**
+ Demonstrated capability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production environment.
+ Strong awareness of surroundings and ability to work safely in active stripping/quarry sites.
+ Commitment to safety, teamwork, and effective communication.
+ Ability to adapt to changing ground conditions, priorities, and operational targets.
+ Reliability and consistency in supporting crew schedules and production needs.
**Conditions of Employment**
+ Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
+ Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
**Work Environment**
+ This position primarily supports our North Georgia operations and includes regular on-site work in an outdoor mining environment. Travel up to approximately 33% of the time will be required to support operations in South Georgia. The role involves navigating uneven terrain, working around heavy equipment, and adapting to varying weather conditions. Personal protective equipment is required, and the role includes consistent field presence to support stripping activities.
