Drafting Technician

Title:

Drafting TechnicianKBR is seeking a competent Person Who Will Work closely with Engineers, Designers, and mechanical personnel to prepare various manufacturing layout drawings, electrical drawings, schematics, illustrations, three-dimensional models, and other types of drawings required for technical documentation.

Uses broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical devices, engineering mathematics, manufacturing methods, and related drafting practices to develop equipment, accessory fabrication, and assembly drawings within established dimensional and weight limits. Performs engineering design work in interpreting available designs others have prepared or completing missing design details.

Completes technical drawings using 2D & 3D CAD based upon familiarity with the construction and functions of equipment and utilizing knowledge of electronic circuits, controls, and components.
