Title: Draftsman - Luxury Interior Design
Location: Bandra, Mumbai
Experience: 2 - 6 years of experience in Luxury residential interiors (commercial and hospitality)
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with strong experience in luxury residential interior design to join our Bandra-based studio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing highly detailed working drawings, with a particular focus on kitchens and high-end residential interiors, ensuring design intent is accurately translated into execution-ready documents.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed working drawings for luxury residential interiors, including kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, and bespoke furniture.
- Develop shop drawings, BOQs support drawings, and execution-level details for site use.
- Create precise drawings covering joinery details, finishes, material specifications, hardware, lighting layouts, and services coordination.
- Work closely with interior designers, project managers, and site teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Incorporate feedback from design and site teams and revise drawings as required.
- Ensure drawings comply with design standards, client requirements, and execution constraints.
- Assist in coordinating with vendors, consultants, and contractors for drawing clarifications.
- Maintain organized drawing sets and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Auto CAD (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Revit and Sketch Up (preferred / added advantage).
- In-depth understanding of intricate kitchen detailing, residential joinery, and custom furniture drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate technical drawings.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, hardware, and construction methods used in luxury interiors.
- Ability to manage multiple drawings and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and site personnel.
