Drill Fitter

As a Drill Fitter with Westfill, you will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and will be responsible for:

• Performing servicing, troubleshooting, and major repairs on underground drill rigs and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to apprentices and tradespeople as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts usage.
• Work effectively in a team and contribute to a strong safety culture.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in underground drilling maintenance.
• Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Sandvik (DD421, DL421, DL431, DD422i).
