For many young people, a driver's licence isn't just about getting from A to B. It's about independence, confidence and access to work.

We are seeking Driver-Mentors to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner drivers to get on the road and get job-ready at the same time.

This role is about patience, encouragement, cultural safety and showing up consistently.

About the Role

This innovative program matches driver-mentors with Indigenous learner drivers to:

  • Build logbook hours (120 required in NSW & VIC)
  • Drive confidently in real road and weather conditions
  • Grow self-belief, responsibility, and readiness for work
