Class 2 Driver - South Kirkby, Wakefield

Salary: £28,301 per annum

Shifts - 4 on / 4 off - 7am-5.15pm

• Operate LGV vehicles for the transportation waste material to landfill
• Complete daily pre-start checks on vehicles before operated
• Compliance with driver hours' rules and transport legislation
• Develop a good working relationship with 3rd party off-takers
• Maintain a good standard of vehicle cleanliness
• Undertake vehicle wheel re-torque on a weekly basis
• Ensure compliance with defect report procedure
• Ensures contract runs in compliance with internal and external safety / environmental / permit / planning processes and procedures, as well as any contract requirements.
• Maintain robust documentation records

• Previous experience as a LGV Driver and a current class 1 or class 2 license
