Drone Engineer

Position : Drone Engineer

Experience : 5+ Years

Location : Chennai

Notice Period : Immediate / 15 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop drone systems including airframes, propulsion units, sensors, and control systems.
• Integrate hardware and software components for autonomous and remote-controlled flight operations.
• Conduct flight tests, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams software developers, mechanical engineers, and data analysts.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation for design, testing, and regulatory approvals.
• Research and implement emerging technologies in UAV systems.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams or clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering , or a related field.
• Proven experience in drone design, development, and testing .
• Strong knowledge of flight control systems, GPS navigation, and embedded systems .
• Familiarity with drone simulation tools and CAD software .
• Understanding of FAA/DGCA regulations and airspace management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI/ML for autonomous navigation .
• Programming skills in Python, C++ , or ROS .
• Hands-on experience with LiDAR, thermal imaging, or multispectral sensors .
• Knowledge of cloud-based data processing and telemetry systems .
