Job Description
The Optical Communication Technology Lab at Paris Research Center is working on long distance (> km) and high capacity WDM systems. We are looking for a DSP expert in coherent optical DSP having also competencies in WDM systems.
The research will aim at innovation in the design and implementation of DSP algorithms for optical communications. The work will be carried out in collaboration with academic partners as well as teams spanning across multiple international Research Centers.
Main Responsibilities:
•Conduct theory exploration, come up with innovative DSP algorithms and implementations for coherent optical communications;
•Propose and implement joint WDM and DSP optimization;
•Collaborate with and guide researchers performing offline validation on experimental data;
•Collaboration with other teams in the optical lab to leverage synergies;
•Deliver DSP algorithms to product line, and support the teams that will be in charge of ASIC impleme...
