Design & Technology Technician
Independent Senior School - North London| Term-Time Only | Permanent
A leading independent senior school is seeking a proactive and skilled DT Technician to support a successful Design & Technology department. Working with pupils aged 13-18, you will play a key role in supporting GCSE and A Level Product Design projects and ensuring the smooth running of well-equipped workshops.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing materials, tools and equipment for practical lessons
Supporting students with coursework and prototyping projects
Maintaining workshop machinery and resources across wood, metal and plastics
Assisting with CAD/CAM, including laser cutting and 3D printing
Managing stock, ordering materials, and maintaining equipment records
Promoting high standards of health and safety in the workshop
