The researcher will join the project EEG correlates of unusual bodily sensations and out-of-body experiences across the wake-sleep cycle at the Center for Brain and Cognition, , Pompeu Fabra University: 

The project is led by Gustavo Deco, director of the Computational Neuroscience lab, The aim of the project is to Quantify the degree of irreversibility in high-density EEG brain signals associated with unusual bodily sensations, including out-of-body experiences, by comparing them to periods of eyes-closed wakefulness and the baseline brain states in which these sensations occur (e.g., meditation or sleep). The project is funded by the BIAL FOUNDATION /24.
