Applications are invited for a research support position in the Reasoning and Infant Cognition Group, (RICO), , led by Luca Bonatti, at the Center for Brain and Cognition, , Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). The position is part of the project Grant PID NB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI/ / and by ERDF A way of making Europe, ERDF, EU, Seeing inferences: Behavioral, linguistic and neuropsychological evidence for primitives of thought (SI), Viendo inferencias: Evidencia Conductual, Lingüística y Neuropsicológica de las bases del pensamiento. The position is for 8.5 months. 

The aim of the project is to understand the logical bases of human thought. We operationalize this question by developing detailed case studies. Here, we build nonverbal scenes embodying disjunctive reasoning and entailment relations, expanding our research to the conception of alternative possibilities.
