Job Description

The Role • Perform strength, stiffness, and fatigue analysis on different vehicle subsystems (chassis, closures, body structure, powertrain etc) • Perform correlation between test and CAE • Maintain traceable documentation for all durability analysis and test work • Able to create FEM mesh from CAD or from rough sketches • Support design engineers in making sure the parts meet all the durability requirements • Able to learn and use different CAE software tools (nCode Design Life, ANSA, MetaPost, OptiStruct, Hyperworks CAE products, ADAMS etc). • Test and benchmark new analysis tools and techniques. Participate in new CAE method development, process automation and benchmarking tasks. Qualifications: • 5 years of related experience ; Bachelor's or a higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Experience in vehicle level CAE analysis, testing and development • Experience with performing linear analysis, non-linear analysis, fatigue analysis, design optimization, dynamic...
