Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Engineer to design, develop, customize, and support enterprise‑level solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in X++, D365 extensions, integrations, and understands core Finance & Supply Chain modules. This role requires hands‑on engineering skills, solution design capability, and the ability to collaborate with functional teams to deliver high‑quality business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and customize solutions in Dynamics 365 F&O using X++, extensions, and best‑practice patterns.
• Build and maintain integrations using Data Entities, OData, Azure services, Power Platform, and custom APIs.
• Configure and enhance Finance & Supply Chain modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Procurement, Production).
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Develop SSRS reports, workflows, batch jobs, and custom business logic.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure system stability.
• Support code deployments, release management, and ALM processes using Azure Dev Ops.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Follow Microsoft’s recommended extension‑based development model (no overlayering).
• Maintain documentation, technical specifications, and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O or AX 2012 development.
• Strong proficiency in X++, extensions, event handlers, and D365 development patterns.
• Experience with Data Entities, OData, Batch Framework, SSRS, and D365 reporting.
• Solid understanding of Finance & Supply Chain processes.
• Experience integrating D365 with external systems using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, or Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, pipelines, and D365 ALM.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
