Job Title: E&I Supervisor Shutdown Project
Location: Oman
Duration: 23 Months (Shutdown/Turnaround Project)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced E&I Supervisor to oversee electrical and instrumentation work during a critical shutdown at an oil & gas facility in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shutdown/turnaround projects, preferably in the GCC, and must ensure all work is executed safely, on time, and as per quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, shutdown timelines, and job safety standards.
- Monitor contractor performance and provide on-site technical guidance.
- Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control schematics.
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems and HSE policies.
- Inspect E&I work for quality and conformity with specifications and standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and daily progress meetings.
- Interface with project engineers, planners, and QA/QC teams.
- Manage site reports, work logs, and documentation for handover.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the oil & gas sector.
- Proven experience in shutdown/turnaround projects, ideally in Oman or GCC countries.
- Knowledge of hazardous area classification, ATEX standards, and instrumentation best practices.
- Familiar with industry codes such as IEC, NEC, API, and ISA.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation
- Strong understanding of HSE procedures and PTW systems
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in high-tempo environments

- Work Schedule: 1012 hours/day, 67 days/week (as per shutdown plan)
