Job Description:
Responsible for leading critical, cross functional initiatives in continuous improvement. Initiates, leads and implements continuous improvement projects. Provides training activities, and supports/mentors continuous improvement change agents and team members. Communicates successful outcomes and promotes a culture of ongoing continuous improvement. May facilitate kaizen events.
Establishes strategic plans and objectives. Participates in development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for programs and individuals. Decisions have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, business unit or company objectives. Directs functional area through department Managers and/or Professional track employees.
