Position Summary
Registered Early Childhood Educators are required to provide professional, high quality play-based licensed before and after school programs that meet the developmental needs of children years of age. Registered Early Childhood Educators are responsible for developing and implementing a program based on the Ministry of Education How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years document while adhering to established HDSB policies and procedures and quality standards, as well as the regulations of the Child Care and Early Years Act.
