Echo Technician | Asheville, North Carolina

A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Adult Echo Technologist in Asheville, NC. This contract position offers the chance to work within a specialized Echo Department, dedicated to cardiovascular diagnostic imaging, equipped with the latest technology to support high-quality patient care.

Location:Situated on the first floor of the Heart Tower building, the worksite provides a professional environment with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including Philips Epiq and IE33 machines. The facility uses Cerner Power Chart for electronic medical records and Intellispace Cardiovascular for echo reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform adult 2D and 3D echocardiograms, stress echos, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and assist with structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, and LVAD imaging.
• Collaborate closely with the cardiovascular team to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies and dress codehospital-provided green scrubs.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with flexibility in scheduling.
• Work may be scheduled at the hospital, office, or both, providing variety and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS certification.
• Credentialed as CCI or ARDMS Adult Echo Technologist; candidates without these qualifications will not be considered.
• Prior experience with adult echocardiography and cardiovascular imaging procedures preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule:

• Day shifts only, offering 8 or 10-hour shift options.
