An opportunity for an experienced Echocardiography Technologist is open for a contract position in a well-established outpatient Heart and Vascular Clinic located in Monroe, NC. This role focuses on adult echocardiography patient care, using state-of-the-art Phillips imaging equipment within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Bubble studies, and Contrast TTE on adult patients.
  • Utilize Phillips brand machines with proficiency in imaging techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with an on-site cardiologist, registered nurse, and department leadership.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in echocardiographic studies while following established protocols.
  • Use EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and reporting.
  • Adhere to department policies, including dress code and safety standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Echo Tech.
  • Current registry with ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification.
  • Required skills: Expertise in adult echocardiography and proven experience with Phillips ultrasound equipment.
  • BLS certification mandatory.
  • IV placement, Strain imaging, and 3D TTE experience are preferred but not required.
  • Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements.

Schedule and Work Environment:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM.
  • No weekends, holiday shifts, on-call duties, or floating required.
  • Orientation typically lasts 2 days and adjusts to your experience level.
  • Complimentary parking provided.
  • Dress code includes royal blue tops and black bottoms.
