Echocardiograph Technologist
Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Full-Time | Day Shift | Onsite
The Echocardiograph Technologist performs comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders using advanced echocardiography technology. This role is vital in identifying the presence or absence of cardiovascular disease, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
The technologist will assist physicians during invasive echocardiography procedures, modify techniques as necessary for special clinical circumstances, and comply with departmental and ASE (American Society of Echocardiography) standards.
This position requires shared on-call and standby coverage for emergency studies, including evenings, weekends, and rotation through other Portland facilities as needed.
