Aer Active is a premium Indian activewear brand built at the intersection of performance, design, and ambition. We are building a data-driven D2 C business where every decision—from product drops to pricing and inventory—is backed by insight.
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Data Analyst who can turn data into clarity and help us scale smarter.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for analysing internal e-commerce data and external market data to support decision-making across product, growth, merchandising, and operations. This role sits at the heart of the business and works closely with founders, marketing, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Data & Reporting
- Analyse Shopify data across sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, and product performance
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly performance dashboards
- Track SKU-level metrics such as sell-through, repeat purchase, and size-wise performance
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and growth opportunities in customer and product data
Product & Demand Analysis
- Analyse product-level data to forecast demand and support inventory planning
- Track new product launches and post-launch performance
- Support assortment planning and replenishment decisions
Marketplace & Competitive Analysis
- Track pricing, discounts, assortment, and best-selling products across marketplaces and competitor websites
- Benchmark Aer Active’s performance vs competitors
- Identify whitespace opportunities across categories, fits, and price points
Insights & Decision Support
- Translate data into actionable insights for marketing, product, and leadership teams
- Answer ad-hoc business questions using data
- Support campaign performance analysis (drops, sales, launches)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience in ecommerce, D2 C, retail, or apparel analytics
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience with Shopify analytics or ecommerce platforms
- Comfort working with large datasets and drawing insights independently
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills—able to explain numbers in simple terms
Good to Have
- Experience in apparel, fashion, or consumer brands
- Familiarity with marketplaces (Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Looker, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
- Understanding of demand planning or merchandising metrics
