Role Overview
The Head of E-Commerce will lead and grow the company’s online and quick commerce business. This senior role is responsible for driving online sales, improving profitability, and ensuring a smooth customer experience across all digital platforms. The person will set the overall e-commerce strategy, manage marketplace partnerships, and work closely with different teams to scale the business using data-driven decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the overall E-Commerce and Quick Commerce growth strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Own online P&L, revenue targets, margins, and growth metrics across all digital channels.
• Manage and scale key platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, BigBasket, and other emerging Q-Com partners .
• Drive rapid expansion and optimization of quick commerce channels with a focus on speed, availability, and last-mile efficiency.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of 7–8 channel managers handling different platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, and Operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Lead platform negotiations, commercials, visibility plans, promotions, and joint business plans.
• Leverage data and analytics to track performance, optimize assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory planning.
• Improve customer experience through better content, availability, fulfillment SLAs, and post-purchase journeys.
• Drive process excellence, automation, and scalability across digital operations.
• Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging e-commerce and q-commerce models.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, platform guidelines, and ethical standards.
