Job Description
An E-commerce Manager in the FMCG industry is responsible for driving online revenue, market share, and profitability across digital channels while managing the unique challenges of high-velocity, low-margin, high-SKU businesses. The role blends sales strategy, digital execution, supply chain coordination, and data-driven decision-making.
Unlike non-FMCG e-commerce roles, this position requires precision in pricing, inventory turns, promotion planning, and last-mile execution, often across multiple marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms.
1. Channel & Platform Management
Own end-to-end performance of marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) and/or D2C platforms
Manage onboarding, account health, catalog hygiene, and platform compliance
Build platform-specific strategies (long-tail vs hero SKUs, packs, bundles)
