Job Summary

As the Senior Analyst Programmer, you will be responsible for providing analysis, programming, and support to clients primarily using EDI Gentran and IBM Sterling Technology. This position will be a full-time and hybrid role.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer to focus on providing technical solutions and support utilizing EDI Gentran and IBM Sterling Technology. This position will be full-time and hybrid.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide analysis and programming support for EDI Gentran and IBM Sterling Technology.

  • Work in a team environment to ensure the on-time delivery of multiple customer projects.

  • Maintain communication with applications IT customers to update them on the status of their requests.

  • Proactively escalate issues that cannot be resolved within established SLA’s.

  • Support and develop applications to address issues raised by project managers/stakeholders.

  • Detect the cause of issues and implement preventive actions for recurring problems.

  • Resolve and fix issues effectively.

What You'll Need

Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in analysis and development using EDI Gentran or IBM Sterling technology.

  • Strong foundation in EDI/Sterling messages, concepts, and processes.

  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., SFTP).

  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and SQL.

  • Ability to write and maintain programming and project documentation based on provided specifications.

  • Coordinates with QC team for testing of work output.

  • Understands and uses CMMI defined processes and documentation.

  • Continuously improves knowledge through reading and self-study.

  • Responsible for conducting brownbag training sessions for the team.
