Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Establish an edible nuts trading desk covering tree nuts (almonds, brazil, cashew, hazelnuts, macadamia, pecans, walnuts, pistachios etc.) in the US, acting as subject matter expert for all edible nuts related business
  • Actively promote edible nut products into client base spanning producers, retailers and wholesalers
  • Foster relationships at all stages of the trading cycle, meeting with suppliers/customers and maintaining business channels for the sale and purchase of tree nuts
  • Work with internal logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth, timely and cost effective trade flow, responding to enquiries and problems swiftly
  • Cross-sell with existing teams/desks to promote volumes of edible nuts to both existing and new clients
  • Keep up to date with market intelligence and news to direct trading strategy
  • Drive new supplier and customer relationships across North America/USA markets in edible nuts/tree ...
