Job Description
Our client, a top Am Law firm, is seeking an eDiscovery Advisor to join their stellar team. This is a role for an experienced attorney who will provide both strategic and tactical support, advising on tools, assisting with fact development, diving deep to determine whatβs in the data, and handling complex privilege work. This role will leverage the breadth of advanced tools and approaches to advise case teams on options to proceed with document review workflows and/or additional model training. This is a role for a confident contributor, ready to counsel on TAR/CAL and other advanced analytics, strategize on the design and application of complex workflows, and oversee the optimization and management of projects. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with leading eDiscovery review projects with an emphasis on complex search construction and results validation as well as the design of optimized review workflows including document batching. Candidates should be comfortable being a leader/owner on some matters, and a team contributor on others. All applicants must be licensed to practice law, and this is a largely remote position.

What Youβll Do
- Discovery Lifecycle Management β Oversees end-to-end discovery processes across large, complex litigation matters, from investigation and review to production and trial preparation
- Review Oversight & Execution β Coordinates review team onboarding, training, and quality assurance; support substantive review, privilege logging, and fact development under attorney direction
- Workflow Optimization β Designs and implements review workflows using leading tools and protocols, including batching strategies, TAR (technology-assisted review), and defensible search methodologies
- Project Coordination β Defines scope, tracks progress, leads meetings, and communicates across internal teams, outside counsel, vendors, and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Analytics & Reporting β Analyzes and summarizes review findings; provides metrics, identifies gaps, flags key documents, and helps case teams prepare for depositions and trial
- Technology Enablement β Provides hands-on support in Relativity and other platforms; assists with privilege logs, advanced searches, QC, and custom litigation support tools
- Knowledge Sharing β Supports team development through training, internal documentation, and contributions to department publications and presentations
- Special Projects β Executes technical and consulting support for unique or urgent client and case team requests as needed
What Youβll Bring
- Education β Juris Doctorate (JD) required
- Experience β Significant experience supporting complex document review projects and managing discovery across large-scale litigation
- Litigation & eDiscovery Expertise β Deep knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, eDiscovery protocols, and best practices from data preservation through trial
- Technical Proficiency β Extensive hands-on experience with Relativity and other major eDiscovery platforms; strong skills in search construction, results validation, and review design
- Review Strategy & Analytics β Familiarity with TAR, analytics tools (e.g., BrainSpace, NexLP), and protocols such as CAL/CMML to drive review efficiency and quality
- Team Leadership β Proven ability to manage and train contract attorneys, guide review teams, and deliver clear feedback and guidance
- Communication & Problem Solving β Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to adapt quickly, troubleshoot effectively, and provide proactive solutions
- Project Management β Ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and shifting requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility & Commitment β Willingness to support after-hours work, weekends, and occasional travel based on project demands
