Job Purpose

To provide editorial and pedagogical expertise in the development of high-quality, CEFR-aligned digital English language learning and assessment materials

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Apply pedagogical and editorial expertise across all stages of the content development lifecycle
  • Ensure content is pedagogically robust and aligned to CEFR standards
  • Collaborate with writers, reviewers, illustrators and cross-functional teams to support innovation and timely delivery
  • Review and refine learning tasks, feedback mechanisms and assessment components to enhance learner outcomes
  • Balance attention to detail with broader product, market and learner needs
  • Support the integrity, quality and consistency of digital learning and assessment materials
  • Skills and Requirement:

  • Strong editorial skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and apply pedagogical frameworks within digital products
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines within structured workflows
  • Preferred:

  • Experience working on digitally delivered ELT courses or assessment products
  • Prior involvement in CEFR mapping or level validation of learning materials
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in publishing or EdTech environments
  • Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of ELT pedagogy
  • Practical teaching experience in English language education
  • Working knowledge of the CEFR and its application to curriculum and content development
  • Experience developing, reviewing or editing ELT materials for school-age learners
  • Familiarity with digital learning environments and assessment-oriented content
