Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Read copy and transcripts and check to make sure there are no spelling, grammatical or typographical errors
  • Receive copy and note any changes that are needed for writers, typists or editors to change
  • Make sure that pages are spaced correctly, so that copy is not cut off during the printing process
  • Work with text and images on printed pages and/or screens and layout the manuscript to a book
  • Carefully consider composition and page elements including font sizes, styling, and spacing to create a clear flow of information

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management, Public Relations, Political Science, Economics, Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communication
  • Spelling / Grammar: proficient in language and writing style
  • Attention to Details: every punctuation mark is in place and every word spelled correctly
