Overview

Reports To: Mortgage Systems Administrator Supervisor

Functions Supervised:None

Primary Functions:Develop and update the documentation of standards, procedures, and training materials for real estate operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and presenting loan origination system and workflow training courses to new users.
  • Assist with coordination of addition of new training or classes to transcripts with Global Credit Union University.
  • Assist in the design and implementation in-house training classes.
  • Train and introduce the use of new system(s) or new system features to end users.
  • Review and update Global Credit Union mortgage and real estate policies and procedures to conform to Credit Union, investor, guarantor and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare documentation of approved operational procedures. Perform training and assist in implementation of revised procedures.
  • Review production deficiencies as identified by management to develop new controls and/or training as needed.
  • Work with department subject matter experts to design procedures and coordinate integration of procedures into applicable workflows and systems.
  • Report system issues to RE Systems and assist with testing and resolving reported issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Education:Bachelors degree in accounting, business, or finance. Professional designations or advanced industry courses in real estate lending preferred.

    Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education:Three years of real estate lending experience. Advanced industry courses in real estate lending and an understanding of industry standards, programs and regulations.

    Experience/Skills:Two years in real estate lending at the Underwriting, Loan Origination or Senior Loan Processing level. Familiarity of general requirements of Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, VA, FHA, RD and conventional mortgage financing. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.

    Tenure: Assignment to Education and Documentation Officer I (Category 11), Education and Documentation Officer II (Category 10), or Education and Documentation Officer III (Category 09) will be determined by the candidate's education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and/or performance.

    Compensation

    Salary Pay Range:

  • Education and Documentation Officer I (Category 11): $57,484 - $90,230 annually
  • Education and Documentation Officer II (Category 10): $63,233 - $99,908 annually 
  • Education and Documentation Officer III (Category 09): $69,557 - $112,677 annually
  • Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

    In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
