EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT PART-TIME TEMPORARY CONTRACT - 17.5 hours/week (mornings) THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF THE DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT Educational Assistants provide support to students to achieve success in academic, behavior, social, life skills and co-op situations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, Educational Assistants contribute to the learning development and integration of all students by creating a safe and supportive environment. Educational Assistant positions can be physically demanding positions. Position requirements may include, providing students with assistance for toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting, transferring, positioning and mobility as required. Educational Assistant positions may rotate through the school to meet the needs of students in multiple groupings and in a variety of grade levels.
