This on-site role, based in Chennai, involves guiding prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process by understanding their educational goals and providing accurate, timely information about available programs. The Educational Counsellor plays a key role in supporting students and their families, addressing queries, and contributing to enrollment targets through effective counselling and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide prospective students through the enrollment and admissions process from inquiry to confirmation.
• Assess student needs, career goals, and eligibility to recommend suitable academic programs.
• Provide clear, accurate, and helpful information regarding courses, admissions requirements, and timelines.
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with applicants and parents via calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
• Assist students with documentation and provide guidance on fee structures and financial aid options, where applicable.
• Support enrollment targets through effective counselling, follow-ups, and student engagement strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records and updates using enrollment or student management systems.
• Ensure a positive and supportive experience for students throughout the counselling journey.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on student satisfaction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to counsel, guide, and influence students in making informed educational decisions.
• Basic understanding of admissions and student financial aid processes is preferred.
• Comfortable using technology and student management or CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in educational counselling, admissions, or student services is an advantage.
