Job Title: Education Counsellor / Admissions Counsellor

Location: Baner and Alandi (Pune)

Salary: Up to 35 to 40k In hand (5k incentive per admission )

Job Description:

MIT University is looking for a motivated and student-focused education counselor to join the admissions team. The role involves counselling prospective students and parents, providing detailed information about academic programs, and supporting the admission process while achieving enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities
• Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries.
• Convert enquiries into successful admissions by effective follow-ups
• Conduct telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face counselling sessions
• Assist students throughout the admission and documentation process
• Maintain accurate records in CRM / lead management systems
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline
• 0–5 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, or sales
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and guide students effectively
• Target-driven and result-oriented approach
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
• Knowledge of English, Hindi, and Marathi preferred
