Educational Interpreter - Kent, WA

A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available for the 2025/2026 school year, supporting a 20-year-old high school student receiving Transition Services. This role is located in Kent, WA, within a high school setting and offers a contract through the school year with potential for summer work based on student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpreting services to support the students educational and transition-related activities
• Facilitate effective communication between the student, educators, and peers
• Adapt interpreting strategies to meet the students individual needs during classroom instruction and related services
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
