Summary:


Under the general supervision of the Lead EEG Technologist performs a wide variety of Neurodiagnostic studies to include EEGs and evoked potentials in the EEG Laboratory the Emergency Department and on the inpatient units. Performs all essential functions with consideration of the age-specific needs of the geriatric adult and adolescent patient. Fosters patient and family centered care and healthcare services in accordance with the Lifespan and The Miriam Hospitals mission vision and values with consideration of the life span including all developmental stages as well as cultural patterns.

Responsibilities:
Measures and accurately applies electrodes according to the International 10-20 electrode systems. Ensures that electrode impedance meet laboratory standards.
