JOB SUMMARY:The Hatchery driver will be an integral part of hatchery operations by operating tractor-trailer combinations for use in the safe and timely delivery of day-old chicks to customers, as well as the safe and timely pick-up of eggs from source farms. Our candidate will train on both the egg side of the operation, as well as the chick side, and work as a fill-in to both as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Safe loading and unloading of waste tanks to scheduled disposal sites.
Safely operate a tractor trailer.
Loading chicks into trucks at the hatchery and unloading trucks at the growers.
Tracking all mileage logs and vehicle condition reports.
