Job Description

Job Summary:
Assists the Safety Manager with implementing EHS programs and policies focused on sustainability and the eliminating occupational injuries and illnesses and ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and corporate regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate safety and environmental needs of the different areas at all levels of the organization.
- Provide training to staff on Health, Safety and Hygiene and Environment issues.
- Coordinate the personnel assigned to the position and provide the tools for proper compliance with the EHS Management System.
- Carrying out risk analysis of the site
- Investigation of accidents and follow up to actions and plans
- Determines and maintains a monitoring program for inspection tours in the production and administrative areas.
- Coordinate and monitor the proper functioning of the Safety and Hygiene Commission
- Extensive knowledge in Self Compliance Programs (STPS, SEDUE, PROFEPA)
